Children go free

Let your children run free in the New Forest ……….for Free. Valentines Dinner at the Fallen Tree

Just a couple of tables are left at the Fallen Tree Restaurant, based at the Cottage Lodge for last minute romantics looking for somewhere to take their sweetheart this valentine’s day. What to do in the New Forest in the February Half Term

Escape to the beautiful New Forest National Park during the February half term and let the children run along the sea shore, climb fallen trees in the forest, and explore the wonders of nature. There are still a few family rooms left for the half term at the family run small hotel the Cottage Lodge. If it rains there is so much to do. The St Barbe’s Museum in Lymington is hosting an ‘Out of Egypt’ Exhibition. A great little museum with a focus on history. This is a wonderful way to spend and hour or two. New Forest Walking Festival 2016

The New Forest is hosting a spectacular walking festival from 15th to 30th October 201. Led by the New Forest National Park Authority and partner organisations, the 2015 Walking Festival included Wildlife Walks, History Hikes, Accessible Walks, Activity Walks, Family Adventures, Shorter Strolls and Longer Walks. The New Forest Walking Festival 2015 was sponsored by Stewarts, more than just Garden Centres.

Nordic Walking in the New Forest National Park

Fancy a walk with a difference? Suzanne Madden is hosting a series of Nordic walks from Cottage Lodge Hotel on the dates below. Feb – 16-18 March 22-24 April 19-21 May 17-19 June 21-23 July 19-21 August – 23-25 Sept 20-22 Oct- 18-20 Nov 15-17 Dec 6-8 The break will include 4 hours’ instruction over 2 days resulting in a Nordic Walking UK Freedom Card which will allow participants to walk with any other NWUK group in the country. The cost of this is £49 pp (min 2).
