New Forest Tour Bus
The New Forest Tour bus has now started for the summer and you can catch them from outside or near the Cottage Lodge Hotel.
The New Forest Tour
Take an open top safari on the New Forest Tour – enjoy grandstand views of the New Forest National Park, wandering ponies, pretty villages and magical landscapes. Hop on and hop off wherever you like and catch the next Tour or switch between routes – all on the same ticket. Hear the stories of the people, places and animals of the New Forest from the on-board commentary – with characters, sounds and music that bring the forest to life.
The New Forest is served by a public bus network, which provides the opportunity to travel around the area by bus.

The Forest Bus & Forest Bus Baby
From 24th May to 31st October 2015 the Forest Bus and Forest Bus Baby will be in operation.
The Forest Bus (a boosted Bluestar 6 service) runs hourly from Southampton to Lymington.
The Forest Bus Baby is a new weekend only service running from Hythe to Moors Valley Country Park stopping at Beaulieu, Brockenhurst, Burley and Ringwood.
Purchase a Forest Day Rider ticket from the driver (cash only) and it will allow you to ride all day:
- Adults £7.50
- Child £5
- Group (up to 5 people) £17
- Over 60s pass holders and under 5s ride free
- Forest Day Rider tickets are valid on Forest Bus, Forest Bus Baby and on the Beach Bus but not on the New Forest Tour
