Bluebells arrive in the New Forest

Walking in the New Forest National park from the Cottage Lodge hotel is a great thing to do anytime of year. But, it is a particular pleasure at the moment because the bluebells have arrived. They need undisturbed ground to thrive. The New Forest has been undisturbed for 1000 years. So, in places where the ponies don’t eat them for lunch, the bluebells are amazing. Here is a picture we took yesterday. Hope you enjoy it.
