Ignore this picture for the time being. This room has had a make over in April 2012 and we are waiting for the pictures. The carpet is new (cream), the bedside tables are replaced. The chairs are new. The blinds are new and so are the curtains.

This room was the main bedroom of the original cottage. The Foresters has the best of both worlds: the charm of a 350-year-old room with the convenience of a recently-updated modern bathroom. However, if you are a very light sleeper this room might not be for you. The room is over the Snug Bar. Whilst guests are normally very considerate of each other and the Snug is vacated by 11pm there can be noise from the room below. To put this into context we have had one complaint about noise in four years.

Internet access is available in two ways: 1. On our computer in the Gillies Restaurant. 2. On your own wireless computer via our router. The signal in the Snug Bar and the Restaurant is Excellent. The Signal in the Forester's Masterbedroom is Good.

The powerful shower in the large shower makes it a firm favourite with business visitors.

The Foresters bedroom floor sits on beams reclaimed from old sailing ships. It has a king-size bed with interior sprung mattress. Your room has TV/video (video collection on ground floor), tea & coffee, safe and hair dryer.

The New Forest is a beautiful part of Hampshire. The Cottage Lodge Bed and Breakfast in Brockenhurst is situated in the heart of the New Forest Village of Brockenhurst. Ponies and cattle can wander freely throught the village. Watch out for them in the village the ponies have been known to wander into Tescos.
