If you are looking for Romantic Accommodation in the New Forest look no further than  the King William. This beautiful room has a carved oak four-poster bed, large en suite and a delightful sitting area. The en suite has both a corner bath (with ducks) and double shower. Bath sheets. Radox bubble bath. Ecover shower gel, hand made Brockenhurst soap plus Gilchrist & Soames hand cream, shampoo and conditioner.

Internet access is available at Cottage Lodge B&B in Brockenhurst in two ways: 1. On our computer in the Gillies Restaurant. 2. On your own wireless computer via our router. The signal in the Snug Bar and the Restaurant is Excellent. The Signal in the King William is Poor. We have tried using a laptop in the King William. On our machine we got access and were able to download emails but the poor signal meant it was slower then other parts of the building.

Your room comes with TV & DVD/video player (selection of DVDs and videos available), CD player/alarm clock, tea & coffee, hair dryer and room safe. Watch your head on the sloped ceilings. Space for extra bed. This room is up in the roof space and so we manage the temerature in the summer using solar powered reflective blinds to keep out the summer sunshine.

The room is named after King William I (William the Conqueror) who founded the forest in 1079.

The New Forest is a beautiful part of Hampshire. The Cottage Lodge Bed and Breakfast in Brockenhurst is situated in the heart of the New Forest Village of Brockenhurst. Ponies and cattle can wander freely throught the village. Watch out for them in the village the ponies have been known to wander into Tescos.
