I hope you love this room as much as we do. It is so unusual. The bed is made by a chap called Rob Dyer from a tree that fell down in the village. He has lovingly made it so that you can still see the personality of the tree. The Standing Hat is one of our most sensual rooms because it it constructed from local Douglas Fir. It has a wood burning stove which has been so popular. The Standing Hat is a front facing room on the ground floor. It has a Large shower in en-suite. Bamboo flooring. It is perfect for those who want to reduce their impact on the environment. The water is heated by solar panels and the electricity is produced by photovoltaic cells in the daytime.

Standing Hat is a delightful place in the New Forest just outside the village of Brockenhurst. The New Forest is a beautiful part of Hampshire. The Cottage Lodge Bed and Breakfast in Brockenhurst is situated in the heart of the New Forest Village of Brockenhurst. Ponies and cattle can wander freely throught the village. Watch out for them in the village the ponies have been known to wander into Tescos.
